Snehithudu is a “do or die” attempt for Tamil star, Vijay, who after 50 flicks, is still trying to get a foothold in the industry. Out of the 50 flicks, only a few were dubbed in Telugu and they too were non-earners. “I hope this film will do equally well in Andhra Pradesh,” says Vijay, who is pinning his hopes on Snehithudu, Nanban in Tamil. However, January 26 will decide the fate of his expansion plans. “It has a good message and connects better with students and families,” says the actor. His colleagues, Suriya, Vikram and Rajini, are big stars in Andhra Pradesh and have an established fan following. Tamil star Vijay is hoping to turn things in his favour with this movie.
Audio launch of Love Failure on Jan. 28
In all likelihood, the audio release of the Siddarth-starrer Love Failure will see the light of day on January 28. The music has been composed by S.S. Thaman and is quite promising. The film has been directed by debutante Balaji. Amla Paul plays Siddarth’s heroine in the bi-lingual Tamil and Telugu flick. The Tamil version is named Kaadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi. Cinematographer Nirav Shah, Sashikanth of Y. Not Studios and Siddharth are the producers of the film. Love Failure will be released on Valentine’s Day that is February 14.
