After being denied a release during Pongal, some of the dubbed films are getting ready for a January 26 release. Action hero Jet Li starrer film is certain to hit the screens on Republic Day. Produced by Korukonda Varahala Rao under Satya Productions, the film is a Telugu version of the Hollywood film, A White Snake Revenge. Jet Li enjoys worldwide popularity for his action skills. Rajasri Sudhakar has penned the dialogues for this film and Tony Ching is the director. Magadheerudu will be released simultaneously in Hindi as Jet Li Aur Anaconda and in Tamil as Bhoda Dharma.
Baby girl for Selvaraghavan
It’s baby girl time in film land. First, Aishwarya brought a baby girl into the house of Bachchans, then twin girls gurgled into the Manchu family and now it is Selvaraghavan’s turn. The director and his wife, Geethanjali, became the proud parents of a baby girl on Saturday. With films like Adavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule, Yugaaniki Okkadu, 7G Brindavan Colony to his credit, Selva shot into prominence with his film Mayakkam Enna starring Dhanush and Richa in the lead roles. Now he has a bilingual film Irandam Ulagam on hand. Arya and Anushka are the lead pair.
