How to convert Word Document into a PDF format...?

Microsoft Word is a word processing software which comes with very powerful features. Its only drawback is that by default it saves documents in its own extension i.e. DOC or DOCX format. To properly view these documents users must have Microsoft Word or one of the few other programs that can properly display Word documents. Another solution is to use the MS Word feature that let you save the Word document as a PDF file . Most people have access to Adobe Reader which you can download for free. Saving in a PDF format is also a way to ensure that a document distributed will not be modified. Follow the steps below to convert your Microsoft Word file into PDF format.


Steps to convert Word Doc file into PDF format:

1. Open Microsoft Word and open the document you want to convert. Make the final changes if necessary.
2. Click the  office icon in the upper left corner of the screen.
3. Place your mouse over the “Save as” button in the left menu and select “Adobe PDF” from the list of choices on the right side.
4. This opens a “Save As” popup window.
5. Select the location to save the PDF file, and change the name if you wish to.
6. Click “Save” to convert the document. A progress window opens. Unless the document is very large, conversion only takes a few seconds.
