Year 2011 gave bitter results to many of the heroes of Tollywood. Check below the details.
Balakrishna: Balakrishna's two movies released this year, 'Parama Veera Chakra' and 'Sri Rama Rajyam'. 'Parama Veera Chakra' was proved to be the biggest disaster of the year. However, his 'Sri Rama Rajyam' got very good appreciations from all sections of people. Unfortunately, this movie was commercially a failure.
Nagarjuna: 'Gaganam' and 'Rajanna', both of these movies got good praises by the critics and got good ratings. However, at the box office, both the movies were flops.
Pawan Kalyan: 'Teenmaar' and 'Panja', both of the movies didn't live up to the expectations. They stood at a status of below average to flop. The one and only sign of relief for Pawan Kalyan's fans is that these movies were not as much disaster as last year's 'Komaram Puli'.
Jr.NTR: 'Shakti' is one of the biggest disasters of this year. On the other hand, his 'Oosaravelli' got very good collections in its first week and finally settled with below average result.
Siddharth: 'Anaganagaa Oka Dheerudu' was a dud. However, 'Oh My Friend' got good collections in Nizam area and failed to do well in Ceded and Andhra regions. Finally, this movie settled at below average status.
Jagapathi Babu: Jagapathi Babu's 'Jai Bolo Telangana' fared well in Telangana region, whereas it was a disaster in other regions. 'Chattam' had been a miserable flop and 'Kshetram's result is awaited. 'Nagaram Nidrapoina Velaa' released and gone before anyone noticing it.
Rana: 'Nenu Naa Rakshasi' was a flop.
Sumanth: Although his 'Golconda High School' received many accolades from the critics, it couldn't get breakeven. His 'Raaj' and 'Daggaragaa Doorangaa' were utter flops.
Vishnu: 'Vasthadu Naa Raju' was an utter flop.
