Raviteja’s Nippu that was supposed to release for Pongal has been pushed to February 17. Producer YVS Chowdary has been giving confident statements about the film, but didn’t dare to lock horns with Pongal biggies. Delay in production/post production is just an excuse.
Who would miss out on Pongal if the film has stuff to impress audience? Even the industry buzz on this film is purely negative. As per the pre release buzz, Nippu is going to be disappointing fare. Seems like director Gunasekhar hasn’t learned anything from his previous debacles.
Reports say that the film is not up to the mark in any aspect. It doesn’t bear Raviteja’s brand of entertainment too. Bad dialogue and cliched scenes are said to be the biggest weakness of the film. However we can’t always rely on pre release buzz as it turns out to be false at times. Let’s hope that Nippu too proves the reports false and set box office on fire, true to its title.
