AUDITORIUM TO BE HANDED OVER TO AUCE TODAY

An ultra-modern 300-seat capacity auditorium constructed by the Dr. Y.V.S. Murthy Charitable Trust on the premises of the Andhra University College of Engineering, would be handed over to the college on Friday. Principal of AUCE G.S.N. Raju would receive the auditorium from managing trustee of the trust and son of the late Dr. Murthy, Y.S.R. Venkata Rao. Children of the late Dr. Murthy, one of the earliest alumni of the Department of Chemical Engineering of AUCE who had passed out during 1946, have born almost the entire cost of the more than Rs. 2 crore air-conditioned auditorium. The trust itself took the task of constructing the auditorium.
