Finally the year 2011 is ending with two low budget digital films that are scheduled to release on December 30th, 'Prayogam' and 'Usuru'. 'Prayogam - The experiment' is an experimental film made by Software Professional turned filmmaker Bhanu Prakash. Most of the film runs in a split screen format. Screen will be split into 4 partitions and different scenes run on each partition. How good or bad it will look, can be seen once the movie gets released.
On the other hand 'Usuru' is a horror film made on very low budget, directed by Venu R. The story deals with a lady reporter researching on ghosts and ends up getting into horrifying situations.
One thing commonly observed in both of these movies is that when the trailers were seen on TV, they looked like trailers of TV serials. This might be due to the poor camera work or wrong choice of the digital cameras. Even digital movies can look like films shot on film reel, when suitable lenses and correct cameras are used. The makers would have taken care in that aspect. Anyway, let us wish all the best for these two films
