NEW DELHI: A powerful blast was reported outside Delhi high court gate number 5 on Wednesday morning. At least 27 people were reported to have been injured in the blast.
The Delhi Police have cordoned off the area, not far from Parliament and the Prime Minister’s Office. The injured have been taken to RML and Safdarjung hospitals. Fire tenders have been rushed to the spot. The cause of the blast, which took place soon after 10 am, was not immediately clear, said police spokesman Mohamed Akhalaque.
