R Narayanamurthy, known for making left-oriented movies, has been a sympathizer for the Telangana movement and he vociferously supports the demand for separate Telangana state. Now, he makes a film on the on-going movement titled Poru Telangana.
He produces, directs and acts in the movie. "I have finished up the movie's shooting part and I am planning to release very shortly," he said. He also added that all the songs are written by renowned poets.
Poru Telangana a focuses on the current, pro-Telangana movement, while his earlier film Veera Telangana was made on the famous freedom struggle of '40s and '50s in the Telangana region.
