Faculty Development programme inaugurated at Ambedkar Institute of Management Studies

Participating as chief guest at the inaugural of the two week AICTE sponsored Faculty Development Programme (FDP) being organized by Ambedkar Institute of Management Studies that began on Monday, the Andhra University Vice Chancellor, L.Venugopal Reddy said that the entry of private players both in life and general insurance had paved the way for better customer service at affordable rates.
Mr. Reddy said the Faculty Development Programmes on Insurance Management is the need of the hour as it would help Business schools to prepare management graduates to take confidently various types of jobs in the insurance sector. A training course on 'Role of mathematical modeling in groundwater flow and mass transport' was conducted at Department of Geology of Andhra University on Monday. He stressed the need for evolving strategies for water management and conservation.
