Looks like the makers of power star Pawan Kalyan’s “Gabbar Singh: have finally managed to disclose the collections after the film’s 50 days run. Ever since Gabbar Singh has released, the film has managed to create new records at the ticket window and is still ruling the roost at the marquee.

According to the latest buzz, the movie has shattered the box office collections records and has created history by raking around Rs 63 crores (share) after 50 days run.

Power Star Pawan Kalyan is back at the box office with a resounding hit. His latest movie Gabbar Singh has completed 50 days in 306 centers today. Here are some of the records smashed by the movie in this 50 days run.

1. Gabbar Singh is fastest movie to complete 1 crore gross in RTC ‘X’ Roads. Robo previously holds the record as it completed 1 crore gross in 53 days.

2. Gabbar Singh is the first movie to have continuous worth fulls in double theaters for more than a week at RTC X Roads. Interestingly, these (Sandhya 70mm and Devi 70mm) are the biggest capacity theaters in the region.

3. Gabbar Singh now holds the highest number of 50 days centers in Hyderabad city.

4. Gabbar Singh is the first movie to complete 1 crore gross in a small town like Bhimavaram.

5. Gabbar Singh had collected 1 crore gross in Kukatpally in 47 days. The movie released in 3 centers here and completed 50 days run in 2 centers.

6. Gabbar Singh becomes the first movie to cross 1 crore share mark in Guntur city for the first time.This feat was achieved in just 46 days. The movie had completed 50 days in 2 centers in the city itself.

7. The movie has crossed the 2 crore gross mark in Prasadz multiplex which is a rare feat.

8. The movie has created numerous records in Ceeded too. The movie is now the biggest share movie in Tirupati and that too with out flat rates.

9. The movie became the first movie in Vizag city history to cross the 2.5 crore share mark.The movie had completed 50 days run in 6 centers here.

10. In East Godavari, the movie has two double theater 50 days centers in the form of Rajahmundry and Kakinada.

11. The movie becomes the first movie to complete 1 crore gross in S2 Multiplex, Nellore. The movie also has 175+ continuous house fulls in this theater.

Will 'Gabbar Singh' lose Rs.14 Cr ???

As per the early reports and latest speculations, ‘gabbar singh’ might stand as Rs.100 Crores movie proving the stamina of Tollywood and the value of Mega Camp. In tune with the same reports, the new Amendments made to Copyrights Act has armored the writers, lyricists and music composers to get their share of payment based on the current market price when every time their work is repeatedly used. 

If such is the case, the ‘Antakshari’ scene of ‘gabbar singh’ which used nearly 10 to 12 old compositions has to pay the writers in accordance. In fact, the amendment states of sharing nearly 14% of collections between the writers and music composers which means out of the total collection of Rs.100 Crores by ‘gabbar singh,’ nearly Rs.14 Crores should be shared between the lyricists. However, producer Bandla Ganesh Babu says this as not necessary while Writers Guild is asking for a mere Rs.14 Lakhs to settle the issue.

Gabber Singh- The King Of the TollyWood..!!

Gabbar Singh,Telugu remake of the Salman Khan-starrer Bollywood blockbuster Dabangg has taken the box office by storm.The power-packed film has become the biggest grosser for a Telugu film, collecting a staggering Rs 128.75 crore in just three weeks (till June 1) in the domestic and global market together. It is also closing in on the box-office success of the movie it has been inspired by. Dabangg had grossed over Rs 173 crore, which catapulted it into the league of the top five Bollywood blockbusters.

Gabbar Singh was made with a budget of Rs 30 crore and released on 2,857 screens worldwide, which made it one of the widest distributed Telugu films."It’s an out-and-out show reel of Pawan Kalyan. We expect the exhibitors to rake in the moolah in the weeks to come" says Bandla Ganesh, the film’s producer.

The last Telugu films that made waves were Mahesh Babu’s Dookudu,which grossed Rs 83.15 crore in the first 21 days, and Ramcharan Teja’s Magadheera which garnered Rs 90 crore in the same period. Om Prakash, a Telugu film trade analyst, said, "The character has caught the fancy of fans. The film has created an all-time record so far and will keep the cash registers ringing."

Last weekend, Gabbar Singh crossed $1 million (about Rs 5.5 crore) at the US box office. In its opening weekend in the US, the movie collected Rs 4.13 crore ($765,373). These are the numbers that any big Bollywood hero take happily for that matter. The movie was released on 43 screens in the US, with the per screen average working out to Rs 9.61 lakh (or $17,799). GabbarSingh has showed power of Tollywood and it's audience to the box office at national stage. Let us see how it performs in coming weeks.
